Digital transformation processes in all government and service sectors in the Kingdom have been contributing to the establishment of a digital infrastructure that keeps up with today's most recent technological advancement.
Digital transformation is a crucial requirement to move toward an ambitious nation and a flourishing digital society, within the framework and objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, where digital transformation is a fundamental pillar for creating a knowledge-based economy.

Above all, King Abdulaziz University is confronted with the task and competency of strengthening university education and expanding graduates' ability to meet the needs of local and global labor markets.
King Abdulaziz University has foreseen future challenges and changes that have occurred in many fields, necessitating a defined plan for digital transformation in accordance with international standards and best practices.
Therefore, there is a need to establish an entity affiliated with the university president that manages the university's digital transformation operations.
The Digital Transformation Center is a newly established entity
that oversees all digital transformation procedures at the university, develops digital transformation strategies, and supervises its implementation in coordination with all relevant parties from inside and outside the university.
